Norths Tie the Series Against St George!

Heading into the night, Norths needed a one-point win to overcome St George’s slender advantage. As games ended and points were tallied, the lead swung back and forth, with the Dragons seemingly heading for victory.

But in true Norths spirit, we rallied to take the night by exactly the same score as St George’s earlier win—20.5-19.5—tying the series 40-40 on aggregate! St George Club Captain Charles Zworestine called it “a miraculous overall tie!!”

In the spirit of sportsmanship, Norths will have the names of both clubs engraved on the trophy alongside the historic 40-40 result. A huge congratulations to both teams for a fiercely contested and memorable Big Boards battle.
