Get Ready for the 2024 Summer Blitz!

Join us at Norths Chess Club for our Summer Blitz, one of the most exciting events of the year! The night will feature fast-paced chess, a prizegiving, and our Annual General Meeting, making it an evening not to miss.

Date: Tuesday, 10 December
Time: 7:30 pm
Location: Norths Leagues Club, 12 Abbott Street, Cammeray

Schedule:
• Start with the 2024 Prizegiving as the arbiters finalise the draw for the blitz.
• Rounds 1-3 of the 7-round blitz tournament.
• Break for the AGM, where we’ll discuss plans for 2025.
• Finish with Rounds 4-7 to crown the blitz champion.

Tournament Details:
• Format: 7-round blitz, ACF and FIDE-rated.
• Time Control: 3 minutes + 2-second increment.
• Prizes: $100 Westfield card to the winner (tiebreaks will be used in the event of a tie).
• Entry Fee: Free for club members!
• Registration: Members event. No need to pre-register—just head to the desk on the night to have your name added to the draw.
