2025 Norths Rapid Championship

Join us for three action-packed Tuesday nights of rapid chess at Norths! The 2025 Norths Rapid Championship is a FIDE and ACF-rated 9-round Swiss tournament, held over three weeks.

Schedule:
22 April: Rounds 1–3
29 April: Rounds 4–6
6 May: Rounds 7–9

Time Control: 20 minutes + 10 seconds increment per move from move 1
Pairings: Dutch Swiss via Vega

Prizes:
1st – $350
2nd – $200
3rd – $120
Rating Groups A–E & Unrated – $60 each
(One prize per player. Ties split evenly.)

Entry Fees (before 21 April):
Members – $15
Non-members – $25
(After 21 April: $30 / $50)

Entries close: Tuesday 22 April, 7 PM
Late entries accepted but will not be paired in Round 1 and won’t receive a bye.
